Nanosafety Cluster Meeting

The EU NanoSafety Cluster (NSC) is an open platform for dialogue and exchange to maximise the synergies between European-level projects addressing the safety of materials and technologies enabled by the use of nanoparticles. The NSC working groups (WG) and task forces (TF) focus on toxicology, ecotoxicology, exposure assessment, mechanisms of interaction, risk assessment and standardisation, communication and training.

In coordination with NanoFase consortium meeting (19-21 March 2018), the next EU NanoSafety Cluster Scientific Meeting will be held on 22-23 March 2018 at the Royal Olympic Hotel in Athens, Greece. The meeting will start at 09:00 on Thursday 22 March and is focussed on the Mid-term review of scientific advances by FP7 and H2020 projects. These scientific review and discussion sessions end at 13:00 on Friday 23 March. After lunch, there will be WG and TF break-out sessions as well as a meeting of the Greek NanoSafety Platform. The meeting is open to all, as are the evening social and cultural activities. If you cannot attend the Athens meeting in person, live streaming is available on Thursday morning 22 March via www.nanosafetycluster.eu.
